For example one measurement that is different and changing all the time is the depth of the mattress. Mattress depths will greatly affect the size of the sheets you want to purchase as some sheets may not come in a deep pocket version.
If you are shopping for luxury bedding, you should be able to find satin bedding in deep pocket versions. Bamboo might be difficult as is silk, but if you search hard you can find it. It also doesn’t hurt to ask if you can get custom sized sheets for your bed.
Know the size of your mattress and that will make it easier to find the sheets you are looking for.
