You need to consider the time of year and the weather for the days you intend to go for. This will determine the camping equipment you will have to take and the clothing you will need.
It is always a good thing to check over your camping gear before you set off. Make sure that your tent is in good working order. That you have plenty of spare pegs and camping lines and that the tent is nice and dry (nothing worse than a wet tent!)
