When I had our first child we were on a real budget, so furnishing a nursery was a big deal. Okay, the paint was cheap, but that was about it. We wanted good, safe furniture, but weren’t prepared to spend a small fortune. Since we planned to have more than one child, we did still want nursery furniture that would last.
At the top of our priority list were three items – a crib, a changing table, and a baby furniture dresser.
Happily, we were given an awesome rocking chair and a couple of other pieces that we love.
Don’t go cheap on your nursery furniture. If you get the good, solid stuff it will last for as many children as you wish to have!
