What are some stones that people would use in Science?
I have down
Sandstone, Limestone, Marble, Mica, Granite
But what are some others that may be mentioned in Science?
Also could you tell me if there a mineral etc & i don’t know weather the ones ive listed are minerals or what
So little help!?
Thanks!

Calcite is a mineral that is used to bend light in science.
Quartz is used to make prisms. Fluorite is used to help melt metals (a flux) and in ceramics which are used in science. Many minerals are used in science in different ways.
Sandstone, limestone, marble and granite are rocks: Mica is a group of minerals which are used in various ways in science.
Of course all sorts of materials that are extracted from rocks and minerals are used in science – metals, refractories, fluxes etc.
