Is there an easy way to clean marble/granite cutting boards with pepper and onion odors or satins?

October 26th, 2009 | by admin |

I made salsa tonight at a friend’s house. They have marble/granite looking counter tops with a cutting board that matches. I need to get the soreno and jalepano pepper odors and stains from the cutting board. Is there a way to do that safely and easily?

If the cutting board absorbed odors and stains, it is not marble or granite. It is a faux composite and should be wiped clean with a mild bleach solution.

Cut a lemon in half. Sprinkle salt onto faux marble counter top and rub with both halves. Let sit if needed and then wipe clean.

WASH YOUR CUTTING BOARDS AND THE PUT LEMON JUICE ON THEM THEN RINCE. WOKS VERY WELL. ALSO VINGER WORKS TOO.

Wipe it over with half a lemon. You might have to do it a few times.
