How can I remove a marble from a tight cylinder hole?
October 22nd, 2009 | by admin |It is a hole used to make 2 beds bunk beds, and you can add decorative stuff. The marble can’t even spin. The marble is bugging me so much. The hole is like the inside of a cylinder, with one end open, and the other closed. It is solid wood and I don’t want to damage the bed.
Options:
1) drill a hole in the marble and incert a hook into it and try and lift it out.
2) Place a hole punch (for steel drilling) ontop of the marble and smash it, remove small pieces.
3) Use a circular drill bit and cut out a large hole, all you will need is a bigger dove piece to lock the beds together.
4) Use a strong adhesive glue to stick something to the marble to try and lift it out when dried.

It can’t be in there too tight, if it fell in originally!
Drill a small diameter hole into the wood between the closed end and the marble, somewhere where it won’t be seen, or can be plugged later.
Apply a source of compressed air to the small hole.
Hold a piece of rag over the open end to stop ithe marble flying. Try not to hold your hand in its path, just in case. Multiple folds of the rag would help cushion the shock.
