I need help with geography homework on rocks/stones and they’re uses around the house please help….?

I need about 7 examples i have got marble as kitchen worktops. can you think of any more?

1) Slate tiles can be used as roofing.
2) Sandstone has been used as foundations and is still used as building blocks (bricks).
3) Basalt can be used to build a fire place (hearth).
4) Blue metal is used as an aggregate in concrete.
5) Stones used as decorative features in gardens.
6) Stones and rocks can be used to build a B B Q pit in the yard.
7) Let your imagination run riot to figure out another.

    granite as tile or counters.
