What color scheme to go with in bathroom?
November 13th, 2009 | by admin |I have a small bathroom, The walls are tiled half way up with cream color tiles and hunter green small tiles at the top of the cream. Then the wall half up is painted cream. I currently hae a cream color shower curtain in there with brown accents. For a new look what other colors could I go with. The vanity is white and counter top is marbled cream.
when you have a bathroom like that.. i would say.. live alittle and do something you wouldnt normally do..like this.

* you could paint the walls a light grey color and your color scheme could be creme, green and grey*
and hang things to tie it in together.. even using different shades of green. It can be tastefully done =)

You can go to HGTV.com to get info on how to paint and seal the tiles… Then you can get rid of the color you hate…
I would say that a light blue would open up the small space… Different shades of blue as accent. It would be set off by the nice, clean lines of the white vanity…

Go buy some flowers the same color and see what color they have matching them……..they usually have at least 3 different colors…….and blend them to paint chips………..and you will love it……….works out great. good luck

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I would go bold & paint it "fine wine" (# 6307).
You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they’ll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
