we need help restore marble?
October 16th, 2009 | by admin |hi this is justin i got a question about marble we have a marble bathroom sink goes in the bathroom re are trying to fix up the bathroom the vanity is marble one day we accidenty spray bug spray on the sink. we had a sheet on top of the sink but i guess it soak right through it there is a big stain on it is there any thing we can take it off ?
You more than likely have a cultured marble sink but i can t see it to be sure.. Cultured marble is basically marble dust bound together with epoxies or resigns(sp)? It can be buffed and polished if the staining is not to deep.. A pro at this is recommended..You can 1 st try a rubbing compound lightly to see if that works and if it does go ahead and do it and then sealing after ..
