You might try sanding it down and then re-polishing it but it depends on how deep the burn went.
Probably you don’t.

    I found a cig burn on my sons marble vanity & removed it easily.
    I used a medium grade emery finger nail file,(not the metal file!) wiped it with dry rag & used the large buffer nail files-pink,blue & white to buff it back to shiny surface.

    when starting to file the burn away file on it gently w/soft touch and use a circular motion. Lift & watch it that once it’s gone-stop the filing,wipe off with clean dry cloth before buffing it smooth to finish.
