Use a construction adhesive or sealant. Verify that the adhesive you are using is compatible with the stone you are setting. Some will stain the stone.

Silicone sealer applied to the inside of the vanity at the seam. Before appling sealant, check the top level front to back. You may want to shim the back to give a slight down bubble to ensure that water around the faucet drains into the sink instead of just standing. It isn’t necessary to bead the sealant completely around the inside; two three inch beads front and back will hold the top in place. Let the sealant cure before using the sink.
