how can I polish a black marble table that has become dull?

November 4th, 2009 | by admin |

It has water ring marks and fine surface scratches. Im a diy person and am looking for product names or technics

Toothpaste will remove the water rings….buff with soft cloth, rinse.

Jeweler’s rouge and an orbital buffer to fine tune resurface – like compounding and waxing your car.

bet it’ll be beautiful.

The same auto polishing cream you use on your will work. Cream not wax. If the real doll then use rubbing compound the the cream. Works great!

I like the kit that TileLab makes and is sold at stone yards and home improvement centers for water ring marks and most cloudy stains. It contains a three step process that removes the stain or draws it out of the marble, cleans and then protects it from future staining. I also discovered that the stone polish and the buffer that came as a part of my dremmel kit works wonders on scratches.
