cookie-cutter answer like Home Depot or Lowe’s. They are expensive. Anyone who charges more than $1 a tile is doing me no favors, as everyone sells them for more than $1, and I can get these anywhere at this price.
Good luck. You will have a real hard time finding that mat. at that price. As you know it goes for more than $3 a foot most places. You can buy what is called "seconds" But these are what is cut out of a counter top for a sink or in a bath for a tub and never come in "tiles" but they can be purchased at a discounted rate since they have all ready been paid for buy the person who bought the counter top. This is just a means for the people who sell counter tops to make extra money. I know this didn’t help much but you really had an impossible question. Try salvage yards for homes. Every city has one.
Where can I buy granite or marble floor tiles for about $1 a square foot? Please don’t give me some?

Ask for "out of date" stone tile samples from some of your local stone suppliers. Granite & marble change in design & color as they quarry deeper, so samples are often updated.
