    Every roll of Ditra …
Every roll of Ditra has an instruction booklet included with it. Use the recommended trowel (1/4″ x 3/16″ or 5/16″ x 5/16″ V notched trowel) mix the thinset a little more fluid than normal and use a wood float or the flat side of a trowel to push and smooth the ditra into the thinset. To much thinset under the Ditra could cause the lumps that you have.

how did you get the ditra to go on smooth, Mine had a few spots with lumps in it ? I think its from my knees pressing on it as I try to smooth it out. Was your thinset more runny for the ditra than it was for the tiles??

Saldibs. Is it completely random or are you using a recurring pattern? I cant quite make it out. Superb looking job.
