In addition to being slippery…marble is very porous, and will stain easily. Make sure you have a regular maintenance schedule set up with a marble clearner/ sealer (1 time a yr).

    Whatever you get, make sure it isn’t slippery when wet, it is really dangerous and you need slip mats down all the time which is really annoying. Marble can be difficult, has to be good quality marble and an excellent tiler is also needed.

    It would look absolutely beautiful.. I can completely understand why you want this look!! But agree with the person before me (sorry I cant remember their name).. I think it would be really slippery… unless you can get some kind of non slip coating or something???
