How can you remove like film from marble tile that you got from using bathroom tile cleaner?

October 22nd, 2009 | by admin |

My boyfriend accidently used the wrong tile cleaner on the marble tile floor. It was the tile cleaner for bathroom tile he got it mixed up with the bottle for the marble cleaner made by the same brand so the bottles looked alike. Anyway, it created a spotty dull film over the tile, marble tile cleaner could not remove it. So is there any other solutions that could remove it without damaging the tile?

#1 rule for cleaning tile; vinager & water

Try lacquer thinner or Windex. Test in small spot first

try using a mixture of baking soda, lemon juice and water. mix the three into a paste and apply generously, scrub with a nail brush, and then wipe off with a damp sponge.
its a common problem with marble, and this solution has never let me down yet.
