What should be used to secure a sink to the vanity?

We are installing a new bathroom vanity and a cultured marble sink/top. Am wondering what is the best product (some type of adhesive???) to use to secure the top to the vanity base. removing glued on bathroom vanity top?

My cultured marble vanity top is glued to the base. Any ideas how to remove without damaging the base? Turpintine,fingernail polish remover, add hair dry heat before and should make it easy to get off.
