We are installing a new bathroom vanity and a cultured marble sink/top. Am wondering what is the best product (some type of adhesive???) to use to secure the top to the vanity base. Or will the weight of the top hold it in place?

Does anyone know if this it is acceptable in the state of Texas (Houston to be specific) or as part of the UPC Plumbing code to not have overflow prevention at bathroom vanity sinks? Or, does anyone know where i can find the part of the codebook to reference ...

My cultured marble vanity top is glued to the base. Any ideas how to remove without damaging the base?
Turpintine,fingernail polish remover, add hair dry
heat before and should make it easy to get off.

Use a construction adhesive or sealant. Verify that the adhesive you are using is compatible with the stone you are setting. Some will stain the stone.
