There is no doubt about it, trying to find a job in a recession is no easy business; it’s about as easy as working out on an AirClimber for more than an hour. But it’s not hopeless. You can start by looking at government jobs. There are lots of those available now. You can also look at doing some freelance work. But the real money to be made right now is in starting your own business.
Many people don’t consider this option until they are down to nothing, but starting your own business can be very rewarding and it doesn’t take much to do. Think of an idea you have always had, or think of something you love to do and are good at and try to make a business out of it.
