I have tried orange oil, lemon, even vegetable oil, spray marble polish, nothing works very well at all. it's like it needs too be buffed. some water marks and dullness.

When I was dying my hair last week I accidentally got some hair dye on my bathroom marble countertop. Is it possible to get this off ... the dye is reddish brown and the countertops are a yellow/white marble? What should I use to remove the dye?

and how do I keep my cultured marble vanity shiny-clean without using scouring or scrubbing pads, which will cause permanent scratches? I have tried so many soap-scum removing cleaners that just do NOT work!

Oy vey,
THe oil is doing nothing more than staining the marble.
I hope its stains uniformly for everyone. Thats a precaution you should consider.
Depending on the severity of the marble there is a very inexpensive product on the marker call "Renew" and or "Brilliance" from Aquamix.
